Hart House Wedding. Jennifer and Anthony get married.

 In Photoworks, Weddings

A Hart House Wedding in February.

February weddings are not common in Toronto. This comes as no surprise to anyone who lives in The 6ix as Toronto is now often referred to in pop culture. Here in “the 6ix” as Drake has labelled us. February days are dark. The winter wind howls through desolate urban streets. The sky is grey and the streets covered in murky, slush. These short, cold days usually cause couples to shy away from winter weddings. But this was not the case for Jennifer and Anthony.

As we sat in our Toronto studio together I listened to Anthony and Jennifer speak of their love. It quiclkly became clear to me that these two were true soulmates.  That their love would brighten up any dark winter day. They got married this past Saturday, February 20th. It came as no surprise that this was the warmest Feb. 20 ever in Ontario, breaking previous records.  Coincidence perhaps but definitely a sign of how bright and warm their love shines.

Their Hart House Wedding was beautiful. The ceremony took place in the music room. The ceremony was a combination of both Hindu and Scottish tradition. Filled with rich symbols of love, respect and commitment.

Jennifer and Anthony, thank you for trusting us to capture such an meaningful day in your lives. Your wedding was wonderful in every way, the love in the room was unmistakable. We wish you a lifetime of happiness and joy together!
